Instructions
Payment is taken on the website by Paypal, but if you would prefer bank transfer let us know and we'll drop you an invoice. Please make payment before you upload your track. If this is the first time you are using our service and would like to listen to a version of your master before you pay please get in touch to discuss first. To pay, simply click on the 'Order' tab, select what Service you require and click 'Add To Cart.' A new window will open showing your order. If you need to add more items or Services you can do so on the Platinum Mastering website - just click 'Add To Cart' again and they will appear in your existing order in the new page. You don't need a Paypal account, just a debit or credit card.
After payment, click on the 'Upload' tab, fill in the form and click 'Submit'. You will then be taken to our secure upload area where you may upload your music. If possible, please put your files in a zip or rar folder as it protects them during upload and download. 24 Bit wav is our preferred format, with no processing applied, including (but not limited to) sample rate conversion, limiting, compression, stereo widening, EQ, saturation or enhancement. If you have applied processing to the master and feel it is essential for the sound of your mix, please provide 2 versions if you can, one with and one without the processing.
Turnaround is usually 1-2 days for a single, 4-8 working days for an album. Once your tracks are finished we'll drop you an email with a link to your files (let us know if you want a password protected link.) If you have ordered a CD or DDP, we'll ask you to approve the tracks before it is sent. Revisions, if required, are free until you are happy with how your track sounds. However, if you decide you need to change something in your mix/production, there is a charge of £15 for a revision. You can always take advantage of our free mix evaluation service if you're unsure about anything.
If you have any questions just give us a call or send us an email, we're always happy to help.
