The Mastering Studio has been painstakingly designed, tested and built to provide an extremely linear acoustic environment, meaning our engineer is able to hear exactly what is coming out of the speakers. This allows issues which have formed from the recording or mixing stages to be accurately identified and treated. All the equipment used has been designed specifically for mastering. This means no unwanted noise will be added to the signal path and the signal will only be changed by the equipment in a way that is beneficial to the music….think Cranesong, Dangerous, Manley, RME, SPL, Plextor etc. The console has been designed specifically not to cause unwanted reflections which can result in comb filtering and other unwanted sonic behaviour, and the speakers are positioned to provide optimum performance and accuracy at the listening position. Basically, the room sounds great!
